The second leg of Charli XCX and Bleachers’ joint U.S. tour has been canceled after the Sucker singer withdrew from the trek due to “personal reasons.” “These personal reasons include the fact that I need to be creative,” XCX wrote to fans on Facebook. “Artists tour for a really really long time and I have been on the road for a while now, probably not as long as some, but for me it feels like an eternity. I am struggling to create whilst I’m on the road and that is making me unhappy.”

The singer first hinted that she might be canceling the remainder of the trek when XCX cryptically tweeted “goodbye tour. goodbye america. goodbye world” just hours after she and Jack Antonoff’s Bleachers wrapped up the first leg of their joint Charli and Jack Do America Tour in Columbus, Ohio on August 12th. The 10-date second leg was set to kick off September 14th in Boston.

Although their Charli and Jack Do America Tour was cancelled, both XCX and Bleachers will still both be on hand for Antonoff’s Shadow Of The City Festival in New Jersey on September 19th. Bleachers also had some of their own headlining dates scattered throughout the fall that will continue as scheduled.

In a separate Facebook post, Antonoff explained the tour’s cancellation from his perspective. “So here is what happened and i’m just gonna give you the actual story with no filter. Was all geared up for leg 2 of the tour when we got a call from Charli’s camp that she couldn’t continue on the tour,” Antonoff wrote.
